Riff Playbooks: Marcos Mena of Standards | 'Cosmos' & 'Cool'

When the Standards 'Fruit Galaxy' tour rolled through Toronto this summer, Marcos Mena was kind enough to pay us a visit and show us a thing or two on guitar!

His unique playing style was on full display and we are excited to share it with you.

Without further delay, here's Marcos teaching us the intro sections from the songs 'Cosmos' and 'Cool' - both songs can be found on his newest album (and Guitar Tab Book) for "Fruit Galaxy". 

Marcos then humoured our questions about everything from his love of Hendrix to his obsession with fruit.  It was a joy to have him at our office, and we hope you get a chance to check out Standards live when they tour through your neck of the woods!
