Can I Return or Exchange My Vinyl Order?
No, sorry! All vinyl record sales are final.
We understand that purchasing vinyl records is a special experience, and we want to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. However, due to the unique nature of vinyl records, we’ve made them final sale for the following reasons:
-
Fragility and Handling: Vinyl records are delicate and can be easily damaged if not handled properly. Once opened or played, they are prone to scratches, warping, or other issues that make them unsuitable for resale.
-
Collector’s Value: Many of our vinyl records are limited editions or collector’s items. Even minimal handling can impact their value, and we want to maintain the integrity of these products for all customers.
-
Preventing Abuse: Final sale policies help us prevent returns based on buyer’s remorse or temporary use, ensuring that the records you purchase are in the best condition possible when they reach you.
-
Hygiene and Quality Assurance: For records that include inserts, posters, or other collectible items, ensuring their completeness and pristine condition is critical. Once opened, we cannot guarantee these items are returned intact.
To help you make an informed decision, we encourage you to carefully review product descriptions, images, and details before purchasing. If you have any questions about a vinyl record, our team is happy to assist you prior to your purchase!

My Vinyl Record is producing "popping and/or skipping" noises upon playback. Is it defective?
It’s important to note that some popping, skipping, and surface noise is inherent to the vinyl format. These are part of the analog listening experience and not considered defects. Proper turntable setup and maintenance can often minimize these issues, but these issues are not grounds for replacement or refund. They are rather part of the medium's unique appeal.
Please note that Sheet Happens cannot be held liable for the quality and condition of any customer’s unique vinyl listening setup, as factors such as equipment age, calibration, maintenance, environment, climate, etc play a significant role in the playback experience. We kindly ask for your understanding that these characteristics are not grounds for replacement or refund.
